On Feb 10, 2025 members of the Bloomfield Sustainability Network showed up at the town council meeting to advocate for inclusion of sustainable practices into the Township's Master Plan.

Residents are frustrated by the delay of both the 2022 Engineer's Flood report release, and the Master Plan public input timeline, the lack of transparency, and political campaigning at our expense.
"Indeed, one of the most important ways we can prepare as a town for future weather disasters is a deliberately inclusive process so all of us can work together for our own family protection and protection of the common good. Putting together a town masterplan after a fully inclusive process of finalizing it is what Bloomfield needs right now." - Ted Glick
"Allowing developers to piece meal new structures in the landscape of an urban area, we may end up in valleys and surrounded by mish mosh structures that could become future urban blight.
We need affordable housing. We need to review what’s planned to create more options/ more diversity for our diverse population in Bloomfield " - Joan Hussey
